Photographed by Jay Brooks this was a serious team feat (not of post production) with body painter and stylist fighting against the rain.
The ‘secret footballer‘ of the premier league still remains a mystery but the story behind the shoot for Saturday’s Guardian Weekend cover feature is very real; the model who stepped up to play the part was literally painted into the playing fields of Tufnell Park.
A brilliant result.
DEPENDING ON THE STREET
Travelling to the Americas, across Europe and Australia, Søren has infiltrated the underground scene with the aim to portray the most significant figures in public and street art both on the contemporary scene as well as the pioneering figures.
Captivating and brilliant, the project will culminate in a book in 2014 with an exhibition to follow.
Shoot Production organised – in double quick time – the shoot to create the menacing hands background, recruiting a host of dancers to be hand models for the day and painting them in black.
Art direction was by Sky Creative’s Nick Allen with photography by Finlay MacKay at Jed Root
Shoot Production produced the electrifying images for Sky 1 HD’s prime time reality dance show – Got To Dance!
The posters for the nationwide campaign feature presenter Davina McCall and the three judges, ex Pussy Cat Doll Kimberly Wyatt, the brilliantly named Ashley Banjo and JLS’s Ashton Merrygold.

Congratulations to Adele! The Tottenham star won a Golden Globe for “Best Original Song” for the theme to the Bond film Skyfall.
We love this shot that our very own Soren Solkaer Starbird took of the songstress.
As her latest film with Tom Cruise, Jack Reacher, hits cinemas around the globe, the British actress Rosamund Pike is causing quite a stir in the USA.
Amid stunt rehearsals for her next big role, Rosamund appears to be taking it all in her stride and is ‘ready for action’ as she talks to America’s PAPERMAG and poses for photographer Rebecca Miller. A natural beauty.
Last month Rebecca Miller‘s definitive shot of Mumford and Sons graced the pages of The Sunday Times Style as they spoke to the ‘Gentle Folk’ about their distinct brand of Englishness- which appears to have America calling.
2013 is shaping up to be quite an exciting year for the Mumford and Sons gents who are up for an Oscar for Best Original Song “Learn me Right” from Disney Pixar’s Brave. There are also whispers on the grapevine that the lads also have a nomination at the Grammys for best rock album. Exciting News!
